Our popular Science Cafés offer the public the opportunity to meet and discuss various topics in Neuroscience in an informal setting. These Cafés feature a Question & Answer with three to four guest panelists who are experts in their fields, snacks and entertainment. Our Cafés are always free thanks to our sponsors.

Brain and Language 16th April 2012

How do we produce language? What happens to your ability to speak after stroke and other brain injuries? Where is language in the brain? Join us for our second Brain Awareness Montreal Scientific Café of 2012 where leading neuroscientists Shari Baum, PhD, Laura M. Gonnerman, PhD, and Vincent Gracco, PhD will discuss language processing, multiligualism, language-related disorders and the brain. After a brief discussion by each speaker, they will answer questions from the public.
